ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD

Furies Theatre - Actor, Producer, Publicist

“A man standing in his saddle in the half-lit half-alive dawn banged on the shutters and called two names...”

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are lost. They have the feeling that this is not the first time they have been lost...

This subversive take on Stoppard's classic inverts the genders of all the characters- bringing into question the role of identity in life and theatre, all the while adding to the confusion of the protagonists.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST

Furies Theatre - Actor, Producer, Publicist

‘A trivial play for serious people’

Oscar Wilde

Jack is in love with Gwendolen. Gwendolen is in love with Earnest. Algernon, who is up for a bit fun, falls for Cecily, but Cecily is also in love with Earnest…

If only someone was Earnest!

Furies places Wilde’s masterful comedy of manners in the fun, glamorous and edgy 1920’s.

ANTIGONE: THE BURIAL AT THEBES

Actor, Producer, Publicist

'CHOICE IS AN ILLUSION'

Creon is king. He has taken control of the turbulent underground 'Thebes'. Yet there is not peace. The heavens are angry and their conduit Antigone means to make amends. Man is fragile and the Gods mean to prove that Creon is only human.
The curse of the house of Oedipus cannot be denied.
'The Burial at Thebes' is a work that retains its elegance by staying loyal to the traditional story of Antigone while reinventing its language to be ultimately performative. Using this masterfully written version, our Antigone rethinks its staging by playing it within a dark nightmarish underground dystopia.
